Welcome to our website and thank you for your interest.  David M Compton CPA and Company is a CPA firm with offices in Birmingham, Alabama and Meridian, Mississippi.  We concentrate on business with fewer than 100 employees.  Our firm provides proactive tax and business operating advice and counseling to our clients.  We furnish accurate, timely and regular financial statements for our clients' use in the managment of their businesses.  Our payroll service operates in all states.  Our electronic internet services provide direct deposit of paychecks, taxes and both individual and business tax returns.

We are always looking for the right people to join our team.  Timing is not always right for us or you but we have the ability to forward qualified applications to some of our small business clients.

 We currently have no positions open.  We anticipate creating some new positions later this year. 

Many of our clients call us first when they have an opening in their office.  If you would like to place your resume on file with us please follow the instructions below. 

Applications are held for twelve months.  If you have applied for a position previously with us, and were not hired, consider submitting your application again.  We hire the best applicants from the current pool of applications.  You may be in the middle of one pool and the top of the next.  Do not be discouraged!  The right position is out there just for you.
